Nucleic Acid Extraction and Biobanking Services

DNA and RNA can be extracted from a variety of sources including EDTA/Heparin/PAXgene* blood, buccal swabs, formalin-fixed paraffin-embedded (FFPE) tissue, FTA cards or cell pellets.

Biological samples can be stored under regulated and non-regulated conditions and are managed using the sophisticated BCube software for highly reliable sample tracking. Customized sample management interfaces allow customers to remotely access every sample in a specific project.

Custom Data Analysis and Interpretation

Beckman Coulter Genomics provides high-powered SNP analysis, as well as highly complex genotype analyses based on sophisticated definitions of a range of variants. Industry-leading tools such as llumina’s BeadStudio, and our proprietary SNPsuite software provide visualization tools, advanced data management features and extensive reporting capabilities. SNPsuite software allows integration of genetic data from various platforms into highly customized output files that can be imported into any clinical database. SNPsuite also supports phenotype prediction from genotyping results of any platform including DMET Plus.
