Beckman Coulter Genomics is teaming up with experienced partners in the life sciences industry to accelerate our entry into key market segments. We are also forming strategic alliances to gain access to specific technologies that can help optimize the inherent benefits of our purification chemistry and our genomic services.

Genaris, Inc.

2010: Entered into a partnership with Genaris to be the exclusive distributor of Beckman Coulter Genomics’ services to customers in Japan. Genaris is a bioinformatics company with expertise in annotation, cloud computing, metabolomics and comparative genomics. These software tools enhance the genomics service portfolio by adding tertiary data analysis and management tools.

Genpathway

2010: Partnered with Genpathway to provide industry leading ChIP-Seq services to customers seeking to understand gene regulation and genetic pathways by studying transcription factor binding, gene transcription, and other epigenetic events.

SinoGenoMax

2009: Entered into a partnership with SinoGenoMax Co. Ltd. to provide clinical genotyping services to the growing market in China.

Hologic (Third Wave Technologies)

2008: Entered in a supply agreement with Third Wave Technologies, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Hologic, Inc. to integrate the Agencourt Genfind v2 DNA isolation system into the Third Wave new human papillomavirus (HPV) tests. The companies are collaborating on the development of future applications.

DNA Genotek

2008: Developed a robust automated solution for the extraction of gDNA from their saliva collection tubes, Oragene. The result of this collaboration has positioned the Agencourt Genfind v2 and Agencourt DNAdvance systems as the chemistry of choice for the automated extraction of gDNA from Oragene tubes.

NuGEN

2007: Entered in an agreement with NuGEN and Affymetrix Clinical Services Laboratory (ACSL) that has yielded a service offering that automates the isolation and target preparation of RNA from whole blood samples collected, stabilized, and stored in PAXgene blood collection tubes.
Amplicon

Amplicon Express, Inc.

2004: Formed a strategic marketing alliance to co-market a suite of BAC library construction and DNA sequencing services to provide both quality and simplicity to their clients.

Invitrogen, Corp.

2003: Formed a strategic alliance with Invitrogen, Corp. to exclusively provide SAGE sequencing services for their I-SAGE kit customers. This partnerships will make SAGE a more accessible technology to the life science community.

Integrated Genomics, Inc.

2003: Formed a strategic marketing alliance to co-market the most comprehensive suite of library construction, high quality sequencing and bioinformatics services available in the industry.

Ambion, Inc.

2003: Formed a strategic partnership with Ambion, Inc., now part of Life Technologies. Under the terms of the agreement, Ambion will distribute Agencourt AMPure, a SPRI-based PCR purification reagent, as a component in its MessageAmp RNA amplification kit.

Seradyn, Inc.

2001: Formed a strategic alliance with Seradyn, Inc., now part of Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc., to exclusively distribute Seradyn’s Sera-Mag microparticle technology for all SPRI applications.
